FreshCanna - Chamomile Essential Oil: Made From 100% Real Chamomile Blossoms
Chamomile blossoms have a beautiful aroma that's been condensed into our pure chamomile essential oil. When used in diffusers, oil burners, or misting sprays, chamomile essential oil provides a sweet, herbal scent with fruity overtones reminiscent of apples and pears. It's ideal for aromatherapy or simply rejuvenating the aroma and energy of any space.
Though native to Europe and Asia, chamomile is now cultivated around the world. While there are many different species of chamomile, the varieties most commonly used for teas and fragrances are Matricaria chamomilla (sometimes called German chamomile) and Chamaemelum mobile (also known as Roman chamomile). Both produce pretty, daisy-like flowers with white petals and vibrant yellow flower heads. Today, chamomile is primarily cultivated to produce teas and herbal infusions as well as fragrances. However, like many ancient herbs, it has a rich tradition of use across many different cultures.
As early as 350 BCE, chamomile appeared in the writing of Hippocrates, and later it gained interest from other Greek philosophers and physicians. By the 11th century, chamomile was being described in medical and botanical texts written in Western Europe and the Middle East. Today, its use is still being studied, but chamomile is well established in the tool kit of anyone practicing any form of naturopathy. In aromatherapy, for example, chamomile essential oil is often used to promote sleep readiness and support general relaxation.
How to Use Chamomile Essential Oil
This chamomile essential oil is made from 100% pure chamomile blossoms and is carefully distilled to extract the plant's natural aromas and other essential compounds. Just add 3‒5 drops of oil to an oil burner or aroma diffuser to quickly fill any space with the scent of sweet, fragrant chamomile. Alternatively, you can also dilute a similar amount in water and add it to a spray bottle for misting fabrics, surfaces, or rooms. Want a heavier, headier floral in the burner?
